I often ask them, <strong>&#8220;Do you want to <em>Create Something Amazing<\/em>?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They kind of stare at me and say shakily, &#8220;Yes, yes I do.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>You see nobody is seeking to go get another job. What they really want, what we <em>all<\/em> really want, is to finally start doing that thing that lights us up, every damn day. We don&#8217;t just want a paycheck&#8211;we want a purpose. We don&#8217;t just want some structure to our day&#8211;we want a spiritual connection to what we do. We want to start working to <em>Create Something Amazing.<\/em> We want to be doing the work of our life&#8230;the stuff that makes us excited, happy, fulfilled, grateful, connected.<\/p>\n<p>We look to our college education or our work experience, and many of us cannot rely on those things to help us to know what it is we &#8220;are supposed to be doing in this life.&#8221; Because this feels like a tricky concept or process for most of us, I&#8217;ve got three questions that can get to the end goal of what you may end up creating. Not the &#8220;means goal&#8221; (or the &#8220;how do I do this thing?&#8221; goal), but the &#8220;what do I truly want at the end?&#8221; These, perhaps, are the most important questions to answer as you uncover what&#8217;s next for you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are the 3 Big Questions to ask yourself:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1). What Do I Want to Experience in Life?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2). How do I Want to Grow?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3). How do I Want to Contribute?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once you answer these 3 questions&#8211;which includes writing about each one&#8211;consider creating a Vision Board to reflect these answers. Vision Boards are created with pictures from magazines or printed pictures glued to a board. They represent what is important for your life now and in the future.
